2023 Election Cycle will open on December 7, 2022

The 2023 Election Cycle will open in 3 days.  The organization needs your energy, support, and readiness to serve.

The following offices are up for re-election

President

Vice President

Secretary

Social Media Secretary

Treasurer

The application will be available by on Wednesday at 8am.  Please email BNPPBC@gmail.com for an application to apply for office.  

Qualifications for office

-must be financial for the last 2 consecutive years

  1. -to run for President and Vice President, must have previously served 1 term on the Advisory board or as a Committee chairperson

-must be a practicing nurse practitioner

-for Secretary, Treasurer and Social Media Secretary

-must be a practicing nurse practitioner of a nurse practitioner student

Elected officer roles and responsibilities, as noted under BNPPBC Bylaws Article III.  

President

Serve as the principal officer of the association and preside over all meetings  

Be responsible for planning and carrying out activities and service events for the association

Appoint committees and committee chairpersons in the event that large scale tasks requiring delegation be undertaken  

Help set events for the calendar year

Represent the association publicly

Vice President

  • Assume the duties of the President in the absence of the President
  • Perform duties under the direction of the President including Co-preside over meetings
  • Co-plan activities and events and service events for the association
  • Represent the association publicly

Secretary  

  • Be responsible for all information relayed via communication mediums to organization members, email, regular mail and text
  • Keep accurate updated roster of association members
  • Take notes and minutes of all officer and officer meetings
  • Assist in the planning and conduction of activities and service events for the organization
  • Maintain all organization correspondences
  • Represent the organization publicly

Secretary /Assistant Secretary

  • Be responsible for all information relayed via communication mediums to organization members, email, regular mail and text
  • Keep accurate updated roster of association members
  • Take notes and minutes of all officer and officer meetings
  • Assist in the planning and conduction of activities and service events for the organization
  • Maintain all organization correspondences
  • Represent the organization publicly

Social media Secretary

  • Oversees posting and all social media outlets
  • Assist with promoting all organization events

Treasurer  

Collect dues from all members and keep accurate charts notes of received dues  

Deposit and withdraw funds from the organization account as needed and deemed appropriate throughout the year while monitoring the financial status/budget of the club at periodic intervals  

Provide a written financial report at least 4 times a year

Assist in the planning and conduction of activities and service events for the organization  

Make sure bank account is in proper order

Keep a legend, and all financial records accurate and up to date
